Many, many, many people join and quit and rejoin. I no longer feel shame for doing it, I've seen so many people on Connect (WW's version of a combination of Facebook and Instagram) posting about rejoining. The important thing is that they are back and giving it another go. Some people, it takes 5 or more tries before it "sticks".
I don't know what it is about WW but it always gives me hope to be a member. I don't feel so alone in my journey, I know that there are others out there fighting the fight along with me. Like most people, since rejoining, my weight loss journey (WLJ) has been like a rollercoaster up and down, but overall, I am down -15.7 lbs from March 1st. My average rate of loss is -1.2 lbs a week. Not the fastest but surely not the slowest.
Along with WW, on a daily basis, I visit a message board on another site and have for several years. It's a small group that goes to this board, the same 3-4 women. Every once in a while, a new person will join or will pop in, but overall it's the same group supporting each other on their WLJ. I've gotten some good advice on Connect and also on my message board. I encourage you to find your own support system, whether it be in real life or virtually. Support makes all the difference. Right now, with COVID-19 making it impossible to attend WW meetings, the message board and WW's Connect are vital forms of support for me. Sure, I have my in-real-life supports but these virtual forms of support really KNOW what it's like to be on a WLJ. Want more info? Check out the following:
